Yvonne De Carlo (September 1 1922 - January 8 2007) was a Canadian-born American actress in the screen and on television. Through her career of six decades the films she appeared in were the most well-known in the 50s. She played her most prominent roles in movies including Anna Marie in Salome where She performed the role of Anna the spouse of Moses (Charlton Heston) in The Ten Commandments and Amantha in Band of Angels starring Clark Gable. De Carlo was offered the role as Lily Munster in the CBS TV series The Munsters, alongside Fred Gwynne & Al Lewis.
