Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American actor and musician. Her first release was humorous, cleverly written rap songs that addressed topics like race and sexuality. Then she expanded her fans to Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her very first musical experience. She played the trumpet. Additionally, she was given the classical and jazz education later becoming a hip-hop teenager. In college, she concentrated on her studies. She took up a degree in women's studies as well as journalism. While she was for a brief amount during her time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were also available. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until after she graduated. Following her viral success via the Internet and her own song My Vag was a reaction to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick. It eventually appeared on the album she released, Yellow Ranger. The album also featured hit songs that went viral, such as the body-positive Queef as well as the cheeky hometown tour NYC Bitche$1. The final track was connected directly to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide which was published in 2015. A musician and author was in her portfolio, she decided to began looking for an actor for a third venture. In addition to early shows like Girl Code and Tawk she appeared in films like Neighbors 2, Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered a series of notable parts, including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP In Fina We Trust.
