Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira born May 26th, 1978 Campinas Sao Paulo Brazil. She is a well-known actress by her roles in Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed to the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She oversees the Assassination Witness and is an GI-TOC member on the Multilateral Engagement team. The GI TOC's research focuses on the assassination of people (including disappearances) as well as violence and different types of crimes with respect to illicit economy. Her main research areas are the effects of criminal organizations on human rights and the humanitarian law and policy. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with honors with distinction International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva. She also has an LL.M. and MBA in International Relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula is a graduate from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with a magnacum laude degree in Legal Sciences and Social Sciences. Her legal experience is comprised of four years with a firm that is specialized in public law litigation. Other experiences include working with roles in non-governmental organizations with their headquarters in Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
