Catherine Tate measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Catherine Ford, born in Bloomsbury (London), was raised by her mother, her grandmother, as well as her godparents. Her father abandoned her family. She suffered from an anxiety disorder that was rooted in words as a young toddler. Ford started acting in her teens, and was an actor in the National Youth Theatre. Ford gained entry to the Sylvia Young Theatre School, but after just a few days, decided that she wasn't a good fit there. Ford returned to Central School of Speech and Drama and, on her fourth attempt, she was finally accepted. Shaun Dingwall was one of Ford's fellow students. He was later to play recurring roles as Pete Tyler and Doctor Who. Ford was graduated in 1993, but at the time, she had already made her television debut in an episode from 1991 of Surgical Spirit; she adopted the name of her professional "Catherine Tate". Tate was on television in the Nineties in shows like The Bill and Men Behaving Badly. Tate's regular involvement in the theatre brought her into the Royal Shakespeare Company, for the 2000-2001 season. Tate was recognized as a stand-up comedian, which was added to her portfolio in 1996.
